Quick Loop Whistle Compass & Fire Starter
Quick buckle whistle, compass & fire starter, curved black acetal, excellent quality closure system, very well finished and designed fastener.
This quick buckle includes a survival whistle, a mini compass and a fire starter made of a magnesium rod (in the middle of the male part of the buckle) + a scraper (on the female part of the buckle).
To start a fire, equip yourself with good fuels to start your fire. Dry birch bark, for example, is very suitable to be used as fuel. If you do not have any available, make sure you have kindling or wood chips with you. Wood chips loaded with a good amount of resin are excellent fuels.
Then place your manesium rod at an angle of between 30° and 45° to your fuel. This way the sparks will fall immediately on the element to be burned.
Place the scraper on the magnesium rod and scrape downwards with enough pressure to achieve a result and throw sparks onto the fuel and that's it ;-)
With its curved shape, this quick buckle is ideal for making the clasp of a paracord survival bracelet .
